Häggeboda glas

In Tiveden, near lake Unden we, Jeanette and Fredrik Håkansson create art and utility products of glass. The surrounding nature is our inspiration, wild and magic. In the glass we try to communicate the wilderness and magic, as well as feelings of our heritage and living conditions.

We use a technique that is called fusing. It means that the glass is fused with different metals and then formed into desired shape. Often the colours of the different seasons are reflected in the glass.

We get our drive and energy from living in the picturesque village Häggeboda in Tiveden, close to lake Unden, where Jeanette’s ancestors settled down in the 16th century.
