Description

Vasikkavuoma is one of the largest continuous moors in northern Europe and is equally beautiful to visit in any season. The area covers 250 hectares and today 80 of the original 280 barns are preserved.

In winter it is a mecca for cross-country skiers and in spring and summer it is a bird paradise that you can enjoy either from the bird tower or walking along the paths.

It is easy to get here all year round, both on foot, bike, scooter or car and in the nice shelters you can make a pot of coffee, grill your dinner or why not rent the nice wilderness camp for the perfect party with friends and family. The site is also accessible for wheelchair access.
