Fiskeplats Stortjärn

Stortjärn is a popular fishing lake located between Yttersta and Storsund. It offers great fishing and nature experiences in a well-kept environment. In Stortjärn you can fish for rainbow trout, brown trout, char, pike and perch. The availability of fish is great. As in the neighboring lake Pithoursträsket, fish are planted every two weeks during the summer months. There are no fishing prizes here, but the lake is open for fishing all year round. At Stortjärn there are both caravan sites and a nice cottage with 6 beds and a wood-fired sauna that can be rented.

This is a good fishing lake for those in wheelchairs. From both the parking lot and the cabin, a ramp goes down to a 20 sqm large fishing balcony. A disabled toilet is available at the caravan park. There is also a barbecue area and firewood at the parking lot. Around the lake there are a number of bivouacs and fireplaces.
