Badplats Pottan

The Pottan bathing area is adjacent to Hemlunda camping, which is run by a private entrepreneur. Both the campsite and the bathing area are sheltered and surrounded by sandy slopes. Pottan is the nickname of the small lake, which is actually called Stordjupviken and is said to have a maximum depth of 17 meters. There is a jetty at the swimming area. The campsite offers everything from a kiosk to service buildings, a wood-fired sauna and both caravan and tent pitches.

Water sampling is carried out by Piteå municipality.
