Packraft-led övre Alsterån (etapp 2)

A scenic trail on the upper part of Alsterån. The trail is only suitable for packrafts and not traditional canoes / kayaks, as it often goes through very shallow water.

Stage 2 is a continuation of Stage 1 at high water level. Stage 2 is more demanding and offers fun and exciting paddling with several narrow passages where you are forced to go slalom between rocks. The stage also requires a few turns where you have to take a few steps in water or on land.

At Barkahultsströmmen, the paddler needs to be careful not to end up under the bridges. The place requires a change of direction and that you get up on the small island and then over the bridge.

Those who rent a packraft get a comfortable and waterproof backpack to carry their packraft in during the hike and their belongings during the paddle.
