The parish council has created and maintains a number of walking trails that provide both exercise and fine nature experiences around Gemla. This trail runs on a smaller asphalt road about 3.5 km and the rest on a forest road. You pass the parish's oldest school Falkstugan, Öja old cemetery and church with parish house and the village of Öpestorp.
