Description
The Döderhultarn Path is a themed path with informational signs about the wood sculptor Axel "Döderhultarn" Pettersson (1868–1925) and his home region, which he loved second only to his mother. The trail is approximately four kilometers long and runs from the beach at Sandvik in the south to Högetorp/Eckerhult in the north, along the beautiful Lake Eckern. It is part of the 160-kilometer-long East Coast Trail.
You can also find the informational signs here on this page – in Swedish, English, and German – so you can read them digitally before or after your hike.
Would you like to learn more about Döderhultarn and see his unique wooden figures? Feel free to visit the Döderhultarn Museum in Oskarshamn.
