Björnnässlingan

Björnnässlingan is a real magical forest with old pines standing around boulders covered in lichen. Björnnäsets nature reserve is located on a headland in Åkebosjön. The reserve is located in Stora Hammarsjön's nature and fisheries conservation area just outside Hultsfred. Here the trees have been left to grow in peace by modern forestry. You can choose to walk a distance of 2 or 3.5 kilometers, both in hilly terrain.

The age of the forest is between 100 and 150 years. The area is home to both capercaillie and black grouse. The area is also visited by several of our woodpeckers, including the great black woodpecker.
