Description
Skärvälla is located on the north-east side of Lake Rusken, just south
of Nydala outside Värnamo on road 127. The water is very shallow and there are
toilets, picnic tables, changing rooms and a barbecue area. Bring your own
firewood and something to light it.
Nearby
is Gåeryd Nature Reserve with its nice hiking trails.

Directions
From Värnamo, take road 127 towards Nydala for about 23 km. Once you reach Nydala, turn right at the sign for Sandvik. Continue straight ahead until you reach Skärvälla swimming area on the right side of the road.
