Parken Kronan

Kronan Park is part of Sävsjö Garden and is located along Storgatan, in the gap between Linnégatan and Östra Esplanaden.

Sävsjö's Garden is Sävsjö municipality's work focusing on perennial plants and biodiversity.

A leafy park with a diversity of plants. First a profusion of tulips appears in the spring and is then covered by lush perennials in the long flower beds. Lindallén offers cool shade on hot summer days and majestic character during the rest of the year. There are large rhododendron bushes and peat block plantings with acidic plants such as velvet hydrangea, chamomile, magnolias and Japanese maples. The scent of Guldazalea in spring is almost intoxicating. A stately copper maple with its flaking bark stands alone in a sea of ferns. Magnificent glossy cherries provide a delightful spaciousness. Crunchy gravel paths and a rippling fountain of natural stone give an almost Japanese feel. A lovely place to sit down and catch up with yourself.
