Järnvägsparken

Park near the railway station in Stockaryd. There are grass areas, perennial plantings and an outdoor stage.

In the early 2020s, new lime trees of the Kristina variety were planted. They replaced the old elms that were affected by Dutch elm disease and had to be removed. The Kristina lime is a true lime variety with a long history of cultivation in Sweden. The mother tree of the variety grows at Svartsjö Castle in Lake Mälaren and was planted around 1630 by King Gustav II Adolf.

The park is part of the Sävsjös Trädgård - parks and planning with a focus on perennials and biodiversity. Sävsjö's Garden is managed by Sävsjö municipality's park unit.
