Fryele local heritage park

Fryele local heritage
society is based in the Fryele local heritage park, which also has a local
heritage museum. The buildings in the park contain collections of old
artefacts, documents, books and photographs. Among the old buildings are a
cottage with a vaulted ridge beam ceiling, an ‘enkelstuga’ (small cottage), a
barn, a flax drying room and a ‘svalgångsbod’ (gallery) shed.

The local heritage society
safeguards and preserves natural and cultural monuments in the parish and promotes
interest in and knowledge of the people and history of the area.
