At the village of Mälgåsen, turn off the E14 and drive west. After about nine kilometers, at the crossroads at the northern end of Lake Grötingsberget, turn right. The road follows the lake and after a few kilometers the nature reserve is on the left side of the road.

Welcome to Grötingsberget. Keep in mind that it is not allowed within the reserve:

• pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
• climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately damaging or disturbing wildlife,
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires with wood other than that brought in or brought out by the manager
• drive a motorized vehicle in terrain on bare ground.
