Skärshult Short Trail

Difficulty level: Some sections on boardwalks and narrow paths with roots and stones. The section between the lakes follows a ridge (goat's back) that goes up and down a bit.

Cultural and Historical Hike

This shorter 5.8 km hike loops around Lake Stora Skärshultssjön. From the higher ridges, you can enjoy amazing views across the lakes. A freshwater swimming area is located in a beautiful forest setting. The bathing spot is accessible, with a sandy beach and dock. Overnight accommodations are available at the nearby campsite, which offers cabins for rent.

Facilities include toilets, fishing opportunities, barbecue areas, and a combined café/kiosk/second-hand shop that also serves simple lunches.
