The area consists of continuous hilly beech forest between Valasjön and Stegasjön. The landscape is magnificent and the area has great value for outdoor recreation. There are large beech forest-covered mountains and cliffs with a lot of dead wood. The wood creates a habitat for many organisms, including various fungi and insects.

Vad ska man säga!? Grusväg grusväg grusväg typ. Nä den var urtråkigt tyckte både jag och hundarna. Men bra för dem som har lite svårt att ta sig fram eftersom det är mest platt väg hela rundan
Kort led men fullt barnvagnsvänlig. bra för familj med barnvagn och mindre barn. Finns lite utspridda makeshift grillplatser folk har gjort nära sjön om man vill grilla. Finns även en lite bättre/större grillplats med stenbord och stockar som sittplats i slutet av leden.
