Kallbadhuset Varberg

After a walk on the beautiful Strandpromenaden, it is nice to step into the fabulous Kallbadhuset, which stands proudly on its pillars out in the sea. In Varberg, you can enjoy an energizing and cooling dip in the sea and then relax in a warm and comfortable sauna in Kallbadhuset overlooking Kattegatt - all year round. If you don't want to swim, it's just as nice to have a coffee and enjoy the architecture, the sea and the view of the fortress.

The current cold bathhouse dates from 1903 and is the third in the series. It is one of Sweden's most beautiful bathhouses and the only one at any west coast resort that has been preserved.

In Kallbadhuset, nude bathing is the order of the day. You understand this not least when you jump in colder temperatures. It gets much colder with clothes on! That's why there's a sauna for the ladies and one for the men.
