Visthuset vid Långnäs Herrgård

At the lake Stor-Gösken, close to nature and swimming and only 200 m to the first tee at Hofors Golf Club and Hofors Padel, our renovated and modernized guest house from the 19th century is available for rent. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering for four people with bedroom, kitchen and dining area, and shower. In addition, there are amenities such as a sofa corner with TV, wifi, and a patio overlooking the lake and golf course as well as barbecue facilities.

The golf course is on the top 10 list of Sweden's most beautiful golf courses. Here you play with sweeping views of Stor-Gösken, blue mountains, and lush forests. Why not start your golf day at the driving range and finish in the popular restaurant in the clubhouse? Bathing facilities are available at the nearby bathing area, with both a jetty and a shallow beach.

From Långnäs Herrgård it is about 5 km to the center of Hofors where there are restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and city shopping. There are also various sports facilities such as exercise tracks, indoor and outdoor gyms, bowling alley, swimming pool, skate hall.

If you travel in the other direction, you will find Stollgången, one of the most fascinating sights of the Iron Age, about 2.5 km away.

This cozy cottage is a 19th century farmhouse where the farm's groceries were stored. The cottage was moved to its current location in the late 1800s or early 1900s and renovated for year-round accommodation in 2005.
