Stafsberg, längdskidspår 9.5 km, Stafsbergsbergsstugan

During the winter of 2023-2024, the association Leder i Hälsingeskogen has taken over the tracking of the fine ski trails up on Stafsberg. Here you are offered magical cross-country skiing on bogs, forest roads and through Hälsingeskogen forests.

It's easy to find the parking lot, which is right next to the road towards Västra Grannäs (follow signs from RV50). There are a limited number of parking spaces, so please carpool.

The cross-country ski trail is for classic skiing only and the pole attachment can vary depending on how much snow has fallen and how many times the trail has been drawn. Overall, Stafsberg is very snow-sure and here it is usually both the first and last ski trip of the season.

The trail offers mostly easy skiing on forest roads and beautiful bogs. If you ski the entire trail, it measures about 9.5 km and then also makes a turn up to Stafsbergs-stugan. This detour up to the cottage is recommended for the more experienced skiers as it is hilly up to the cottage, as well as some lovely curves and descents on the way down. Up at Stafsbersstugan you can go in and warm up, light a fire in the fire pallet hut - or why not spend the night?

For those who want a little easier skiing, the first bog loop is recommended. which measures about 4 km from the parking lot.
