Kyrktjärn was a popular bathing place in the past, which today is not used as frequently for swimming but more for fishing. However, the lake is completely swimmable and there are good opportunities to get in from the jetty and stairs for those who want to take a cooling dip.

About 300 m from parking. The parking lot is at a turnaround where there are older signs about exercise facilities and fishing in Kyrktjärn.
Directions
From RV50/301 turn off at hälsingegård Ol-anders/tourist information - signposted towards Runemo. Then turn immediately left and after 300 meters left again down the road. Signposted towards Jättar/ Hymmersbacken. Then keep "straight ahead" (not towards Hymmersbacken), drive through the horse farm and then you are at a turnaround where you also park.
Walk up the small hill and you will come to the barbecue area with windbreak. From there you can see the lake with swimming and fishing opportunities.
