Description
Erik-Anders is one of seven Hälsingland farms that in 2010 became a World Heritage Site and included on UNESCO's World Heritage List "Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland"
The World Heritage Site, Hälsingegården is located along the winding village road Asta in Söderala parish and has a manor-like architecture. Inside the house, the rooms are in two rows and there is a grand banquet hall upstairs with impressive width. The farmhouse features interiors from several eras, from 1850 to 1950. Erik-Anders is named after Erik Andersson, who had the farm built in the 1820s. He was a farmer and alderman in Söderala parish. Today Erik-Anders is privately run by the Forssell family.
