Welcome to Gävle city's only true campsite, located in a peaceful and scenic seaside setting in Enegesberg, right by Engesberg Bay.

Beautifully situated near the fishing village of Bönan in a sheltered seaside bay, the campsite is located 12 km north of Gävle. Within walking distance, you'll find a family-friendly beach with sand and a grassy area. Barbecue areas are available at both the campsite and the beach, and there is a guest harbor for visitors arriving by boat.

Close by is Bönan’s fishing village, where you can buy freshly smoked fish, and you’ll pass Gävle Golf Club on your way to the campsite. If you want to relax without worrying about driving, the local bus can take you from the campsite to Gävle city.

Members who manage the campsite are always available to help. The campsite features its own beach, with possibly the longest swimming pier in Gävleborg. It offers new showers and toilets, including accessible facilities.

Accommodation Options:

• 114 Campsites for caravans/motorhomes with 16 A power outlets with new EU connections.
• 4 Campsites without power outlets.
• 3 Cabins accommodating six people, equipped with a small kitchenette.
• 10 Cabins accommodating four people, equipped with a small kitchenette; three of these cabins have showers and toilets. Pets are welcome in some cabins; please contact the reception for specific availability. At least one cabin is wheelchair accessible.
• 30 Tent Sites are located on the upper tier of the campsite, next to the cabin area.

The campsite does not currently offer stopover or quick stop places. However, the plan is to soon provide electric car charging stations for visitors.

Showers and toilets are available on both the lower level near the reception building and the upper tier.

Opening Hours:
The campsite is open every day, year-round. The reception is staffed part-time in May and September and full-time in June, July, and August from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
