The butterfly trail in Grinduga is well worth a visit during the summer months. Here you can choose to walk or cycle and at the same time look for different butterflies that thrive on different stretches along the road.

The Butterfly Road is a three-kilometer gravel road that has several different types of habitats that suit several different types of butterflies. This means that during a summer you can see over 50 different kinds of butterflies if you visit the road at different times during the summer. Some butterflies fly in the spring, some in the middle of the summer and some at the end of the summer.

The edges of the butterfly road are mowed in mid-September and then only one edge is mowed per year and then you alternate between the two edges.

Fjärilsvägen is located south of Grinduga and it is signposted from the village. You can park along the gravel road if you come by car.
