Delsbosvängen Vandringsled

Delsbosvängen starts at Karlsbruket in Delsbo, the trail is 19.3 km. It runs on old paths that were used by the Jätjäntor, to get to and between the valleys during the time of the fäbodbruk. The first part of the trail is marked in blue, after Nyvallen in orange. Karlsbruket-Renåsvallen 2.2 km, steep climb, the trail first goes on a road and then goes along an old narrow cultural path. Up on the heights there are nice views. The path winds its way towards Renåsvallen, a fine mountain pasture built before the 18th century. There is a spring on the embankment. Renåsvallen - Stömnesvallen 2.0 km. The trail goes at the beginning over a newly made hygge, a little difficult to see the path but it is marked in blue. Then it becomes a nice cultural trail that winds around Lilla Råberget. The last bit towards Stömnesvallen, the trail goes on an old grassy embankment road. Stömnesvallen is an old rampart that existed before the 18th century, many cottages are preserved. Stömnesvallen - Råbergsvallen 3.0 km, a nice stretch, the trail goes along a narrow path that winds along the slope of Råberget. Some nice stream ravines are passed before Råbergsvallen. Råbergsvallen is well preserved with a nice embankment and was built after 1700. Råbergsvallen - Klövsvallen, 1.5 km, the trail goes mostly uphill and over a large hygge that creates views. Just before Klövsvallen you go through a grassy forest with large spruces. Klövsvallen does not have many cabins left but there is an open rest cabin to go into. The rampart was built before the 18th century. Klövsvallen - Nyvallen easy hike downhill through fine old forest, partly on clearings that create views. Nyvallen is located at Lake Nyvallssjön where there is a bathing place a bit southeast along the seven-valley trail. Nyvallen dates back to before the 18th century, the cottages are located on either side of a valley street. Nyvallen Nyvallen - Sellbergsvallen, 3.5 km easy hike downhill on a wider path, old vallvägen, surrounded by nice forest. Some clearings are passed where there are nice views. Sellbergsvallen is also an old embankment, here is also an open resting hut. Sellbergsvallen - Karlsbruket, easy hike partly along the old valley road, which here is a gravel road or larger path.
