Description
One, two! One, two! Right turn, left turn! The trampling of many soldiers created the steppe-like vegetation that led to very special plants and insects thriving here. The rare Golden Sand Bee is one of several exclusive species you will find here.
Rommehed was used for a long time as a training ground for the Dala Regiment. Long-term trampling, combined with the dry and sun-exposed location and the easily drained sand, has created a unique habitat. The conditions here are almost steppe-like.
