Polhem Bed & Breakfast

On the Falu Gruva site, right on the edge of the Stora Stöten mine shaft, there is a beautiful house dating back to the 1700s. In the past, the masters of art, the mine's engineers, lived here. One of them was Christopher Polhem. The house has been renovated to offer a unique Bed & Breakfast in the middle of the World Heritage Site. Here you can sleep well, look for Berguv, enjoy the sunset from the terrace and experience the Falu Gruva area.

The house is newly renovated and offers five double rooms and two family rooms. The price includes made beds, towels, WiFi throughout the house, parking outside and breakfast bag with sandwich, juice, yogurt and fruit. Possibility to make your own porridge, coffee and tea. Shared toilet and shower and access to sauna.

Many activities in the area and walking distance to the center, 1 km. Open for accommodation all year round. The accommodation is unmanned but Falu Gruva's reception is available. Opening hours for the reception can be found on Falu Gruva's website.
