Tällbergsrundan

This is a suggestion for a route to cycle to experience the villages of northern Leksand. There are no markings to follow, although you sometimes follow the Siljansleden cycle path. A medsol tour from Leksand center starts with a bike path through the community and out past Sommarland. Through the buildings along Siljan, the villages of Sunnanäng and Hjortnäs then it goes up to Tällberg. Further down past Tällberg's campsite and on small and charming village roads through Laknäs. A little bigger road through Östanhol and up towards Kullsbjörken. Gamla landsvägen is a gravel road from Kullsbjörken and up to highway 70 which must be passed. Be careful here because the cars drive fast!

Now we continue uphill through Norr Bergsäng, Söder Bergsäng and to Norr Lindberg. Here the views are extensive to the northwest over open fields and further out over the neighborhood, the view tower Vidablick is well visible. A little more uphill to Söder Lindberg but it was the last mountain climb because then it goes downhill through the forest landscape. The small village of Risa whizzes past but in Torrberg it levels out and you have time to get a look out over the views to the south and towards Limsjön which will soon be passed. Along Limsjön and through the village of Lycka, the gravel road winds forward but the last bit towards Leksand is the paved bike path.
