Description

Tired of clear-cutting? This is southern Dalarna's longest hike in protected nature. A good tour to experience Gyllbergen's large nature reserve and surrounding pastures. The trail is suitable for a two-day trip starting in Gyllfäboden. The entire route is marked and signposted but a map is recommended especially for the parts outside the reserve. Overnight accommodation is available in Dragbergsstugan, Prästbodarna, Bergslagsstugan and in several huts along the trail. Several parts of the trail go over bogs that are partially shoveled but bring boots or good boots because it can be wet.
