Tulseboda Brunnspark

Tulseboda Brunnspark is an acclaimed park and historic destination where people have come to feel good for decades. Tulseboda Brunn is located in the park and gives a magnificent impression with raked gravel paths and a large oval flowerbed. Tulseboda Brunn used to be a popular spa resort with both hot and cold baths in the surroundings and a water pavilion for thirsty visitors. Nowadays there is a restaurant serving lunch in the glass veranda and the house also functions as a cultural center with a circus school, exhibitions, and a party room that brings together both adults and children.

From Tulseboda Brunn and through the well park extends Parkstigen, which ends in Södersjön with a beautiful jetty and barbecue area. Along the walk on Parkstigen you can sit down on the park's own Tulseboda sofas, which are made in the style of the well era. In the middle of the well park, by the beautiful ponds, is Kyrkhult's local history museum housed in the old doctor's villa, an annex building to Tulseboda Brunn from 1889. Near Södersjön there is a popular parking lot for motorhomes and a stage destination for the Blekingeleden trail. Tulseboda Brunnspark was awarded the 2019 Municipal Prize of the Urban Gardeners' Association for its work on the KOM project [Kultur-Odling-Mat], in which children at the preschool and school developed the park together with the municipality, associations and local businesses. The park is also one of five Swedish outdoor environment projects nominated for the European ELCA Trend Award.
