Cykelrunda Aspö

A bike ride on Aspö is a journey back in time. Your route takes you past parts of the World Heritage Site the Naval Port of Karlskrona, such as the seventeenth-century fortress Drottningskärs Kastell, and several historic military installations such as “Gruvan” and the Elleholm battery.

Aspö has about 460 year-round residents and slightly more in the summer. There are several beaches, accommodation, cafés and a restaurant. The island has no bridge to the mainland but can easily be reached on the car ferry from Trossö, Karlskrona.
