Old and the new in one historic building

Snickaren Hostel is in one of the oldest buildings in Grästorp, constructed in 1929. It has been carefully renovated and is now a charming blend of old and new. The entrance has the original wallpaper and all the rooms have painted fabric ceilings. The original wooden floor has been restored and you will see historic furniture and interiors throughout the building.

Comfortable accommodation in apartments

At Snickaren Hostel there are three apartments to rent, either per night, per week or per month. The apartment on the ground floor has two bedrooms with four beds in total, and the second one on the upper floor has one bedroom with two beds. Every apartment have a well-equipped kitchen, living room, newly renovated shower, toilet and free Wi-Fi. Big screen-tv on every floor and the shared room has board games and newspapers.
Charming 50s style kitchen on the ground floor and middle floor - and a brand-new kitchen on the upper floor. Bed linen is included, there are two extra beds for children and a child seat is available on request.
A washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities are all available for your use. The hostel's basic gym was once used for storing cheese and later as a shelter.

Fruit orchard, lovely countryside and fishing

You are free to pick fruit and berries from the trees and bushes in the large garden, which also provides outdoor furniture, barbecue grills and board games. In the lovely natural areas around Grästorp and the river Nossan you can go walking, canoeing, fishing, rafting and cycling. There are bicycles you can borrow at Snickaren. Don’t miss the magnificent views from Hunneberg or one of the local cuisine farms and shops in the area.
