Beschreibung
At Lake Träsksjön, tree trunks are piled on top of each other like pick-up sticks, thanks to the hard-working local beavers. The first American signal crayfish in Europe was introduced here in 1960 and they are still found in the area today.
By the lake, the alder swamp is rich in birdsong. The area is peaceful and beautiful. A couple picnic areas are beautifully situated here along the shore. Old, dark coniferous forest are found nearby, and you can grill at the picnic areas at the parking lot and at the Träsket picnic area. Here, you'll also find an informational sign about Bogesundslandet and a map with things to see and do in the nature reserve.

Anleitung
Auto: Von Stockholm Straße 274, biegen Sie rechts nach Pålsundsvägen, unterzeichnet nach Bogesundslandet. Fahren Sie 2,4 km und biegen Sie rechts ab, fahren Sie weitere 2,2 km. Biegen Sie links ab und parken Sie am Rest. Von dort ist es einen kurzen Spaziergang hinunter zum See.
Biegen Sie auf Bogesundsleden ab und fahren Sie bis Sundby und fahren Sie vorbei an Söderby und weiter zum Rastplatz Wood.

In order to protect the Bogesundslandet nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage rock, soil or stone by drilling, cutting, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes or damage the vegetation in general by digging up plants,
- bring dogs that are not on a leash,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights outside of designated campsites,
- park a motorhome, caravan or other camping vehicle outside of designated campsites,
- anchor a boat at the same beach for more than two consecutive nights,
- make a fire outside of designated sites,
- put up signs, posters or similar,
- bike outside of designated bicycling trails while cycling off road,
- ride horses off road or outside of designated horse trails.
