Banvallen

The 33 km long track along the scenic Torne River is perfect for walking, running and cycling in the summer, while the winter offers regularly groomed ski trails. The trail is flat and welcomes all ages and experience levels, with skiers and snowmobilers sharing the space in a considerate way. The Art Trail, which follows the embankment, offers cultural experiences with its exhibited artworks.

Parking is available along the entire route at several locations, such as Lokstallarna in Övertorneå, the old railway bridge in Luppio, and the recycling station in Hedenäset.
