Flottningsmuseum i smedjan

The Flottarmuséet is located at the edge of the river next to Kyrkbron in Dala-Floda. The old smithy is beautifully preserved and today serves as the Flottarmuséum. A look here gives an insight into the old rafting that was essential for the industrialization of the country and the emergence of our modern welfare state.

Within a few hundred meters you will find the church, Hjort-Olar's café, Flokullornas restaurant and the restaurant Byns skafferi, pumptrack, playground hiking trails and much more.
